Plus, United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer says he’s made substantial progress in talks this week with Democratic leaders including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, but it will take more work before the deal can be sent to Congress. Minnesota Farm Bureau President Kevin Paap is encouraged by the progress.

Lighthizer added Speaker Pelosi has been completely fair and above board as he’s worked with her to address concerns over environmental and labor standards in the trade deal.
