Minnesota Farm Bureau members are tracking tax legislation going through the State Legislature. Farm Bureau Public Policy Director Amber Hanson Glaeser says there’s an excellent chance to get some relief measures passed this session.

She expects movement soon on several of the tax bills as the policy deadline is fast approaching for getting those bills finalized.

Glaeser says another tax measure they want to see passed is Section 179 tax conformity which was in the Governor’s budget proposal. She says it’s been heard in both the House and Senate Tax Committees.

Glaeser says Farm Bureau members also want legislation approved to address infrastructure and rural mental health.
