Minnesota Farm Bureau members are in Washington D.C. this week on their annual fall fly-in. Associate Director of Public Policy Amber Hanson says they will be lobbying on trade, the RFS and environmental regulations while on the Hill. That includes building support for the bill to stop the EPA’s proposed Waters of the U.S. rule and the federal power grab.
Hanson says they will also be dropping off thousands of petitions signed by their members opposing the expansion of the Clean Water Act.
She says 16 Minnesota Farm Bureau members are attending the fly-in…the majority are Young Farmer and Rancher leaders.
