Minnesota Farm Bureau delegates at their recent annual convention re-elected Blue Earth County farmer Kevin Paap to another two year term as their President. He says their members have several concerns going forward including dealing with weather and price challenges as well as trade uncertainty.

He says there are a number of issues at both the federal and state level that need attention ranging from ag labor to infrastructure, broadband access as well as property taxes.

Paap says their members also want Congress to bring up and ratify the USMCA trade agreement as soon as possible.

Minnesota Farm Bureau delegates also elected the Promotion and Education Committee chair Peter Bakken from Rock County and Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee Chair Rachel Connell from Cass County, both to one year terms on their Board of Directors.
