One of the major issues for Minnesota Farm Bureau members this state legislative session revolves around taxes. Farm Bureau Public Policy Director Amber Hanson Glaeser says discussion on taxes has already begun with the start of the session this week on Tuesday.

She says one of their major concerns is what state lawmakers do to reduce property taxes.

Glaeser says environmental issues are always on their radar screen but they’ll be watching what regulations surface to address those.

Glaeser says they’ll be monitoring any bills dealing with infrastructure, roads and bridges as well as broadband and making sure producers have access to high speed internet.
