House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy says the House will soon consider legislation to require EPA to base its regulatory actions and rulemakings on scientific information. Minnesota Farm Bureau President Kevin Paap says that fits in with his group’s policy and is a sensible measure that he supports.
Paap says his group isn’t against regulations as long as they’re needed and based on common sense and science.
McCarthy’s legislation is expected to be considered after next month’s election and during the lame duck Congressional session.
