The Minnesota state fairgrounds are closed to the public from now until the fair opens later this month as vendors move in and get their stands ready. Spokeswoman Danielle Dullinger says it’s a whirlwind of activity
Dullinger says nearly all of the 10,000 or so people needed to work at the fair have been hired, though some positions remain open. The fair this year runs from August 23rd through September 3rd.
