The University of Minnesota Extension is hosting a fertilizer value manure field day in Lamberton today with demonstrations this afternoon. Extension Feedlot Specialist Nicole Kenny Rambo says they’ll be in the field until late this afternoon and producers or anyone interested is invited to show up.
Rambo says through a grant from the Minnesota Corn Grower’s Association, researchers looked at what impact the feedlot facility type has on fertilizer value. She says they’ve been sharing results at demonstrations at their various field days including at todays.
Rambo says they’ll hold another field day Wednesday in Rosemont just south of the Twin Cities starting at 10 a.m.
