Minnesota employers added 15-thousand-100 jobs in April, the highest monthly job gain in the state since September 2013. State job analyst Steve Hine says the biggest gains were in education and health services — with four-thousand-300 new jobs
The biggest jobs losses were in trade, transportation and utilities down 700 followed by financial activities down 500. Minnesota’s unemployment rate sits at 3.8 percent. This compares to the national jobless rate of 4.4 percent.
