Election officials from across the country testified before a US Senate committee this week on election security.  Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon was there and told members he is proud of the safeguards the state had in place in 2016.

Simon says federal funding is crucial for states as they deal with the hefty price tag that comes with election security.
