After a more expensive than normal winter at the pump, drivers shouldn’t expect much relief at the pump this spring. Gail Weinholzer with Triple-A Minnesota says the strong stock market kept prices high and could push them up to 2.70 or more per gallon this spring.
Weinholzer says if you’re feeling the pinch at the pump, consider combining your car trips, don’t store extra weight in your vehicle and keep speeds under 50 miles an hour when possible.
