The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is reminding deer hunters to purchase their licenses early. Licensing Program Director Steve Michaels advises not to wait until the last minute, as lines can get pretty long.

For more information, you can visit the DNR’s website. Last year, the DNR sold more than 145,000 licenses on the Thursday and Friday before the opener. The 2016 Minnesota firearms deer season begins November 5th.
