The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has captured and tagged its first bighead carp.  The 37-pound, 43-inch bighead carp was caught in the St. Croix River last Friday and surgically implanted with a thin tracking tag and returned to the river.  The DNR’s Nick Frohnauer says they’ve already begun tracking the data

Anyone who catches a bighead, grass or silver carp in Minnesota should contact the DNR immediately.
