Minnesota cattle producers are visiting the University of Minnesota on Tuesday as part of their annual summer tour.  Allison Vanderwal serves as the executive director with the Minnesota Cattlemen’s Association.  She says the tour is different from past tours as cattle producers will see three specific areas within the university system.  During their visit to the University of Minnesota meat lab, Vanderwal says producers will get a close look at how beef is graded.  The Minnesota Cattlemen Association executive says producers on the meat lab tour will also see the difference in different beef animals.
