Minnesota Cattlemen Association members are continuing to work with state lawmakers for some legislative fixes.  Cattlemen’s President Dar Geiss says one concern that came up this year and they’re hoping for a fix next year deals with high propane prices and shortages.

Geiss says another fix they’re looking for is repeal of a state tax on farm equipment machinery and repair.

Geiss says his group has received support from Governor Dayton on that and is hoping that will spur legislators to repeal that tax.
