Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue told the House Agriculture Committee on Wednesday the final rule allowing year round E15 use may not be done in time for the start of the summer driving season. Minnesota Biofuels Association Executive Director Tim Rudnicki says that’s not only disappointing but will bring negative consequences to his state.

He says without E15 available this summer it hurts consumers, retailers and the environment.

Rudnicki says the rulemaking for E15 could have been greatly expedited had the EPA split Rin reform from year round E15 use.

Rudnicki is in Washington D.C. and has been and will continue to meet with policy makers to tell them about the importance of EPA getting the E15 rule making done.
