President Trump is declaring the opioid crisis a public health emergency. Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson says the crisis is getting worse each year and it’s an uphill battle

 

Swanson says prescriptions have quadrupled since 1999. Opioid overdoses killed 64-thousand Americans last year.
