Minneapolis will host this year’s U.S. Soy Global Trade Exchange. The event brings hundreds of trade teams into the U.S. to build relationships with the farmers that supply the product. Will McNair with the United States Soybean Export Council says the hope is the event will lead to additional soybean export deals being inked.
And McNair says the event has a long history of generating some big soybean export deals, especially with China.
He says they chose Minneapolis for the event because it is a great agricultural area with good access to international airports.
