It took an extra four holes, but senior Megan Mingo won her second career title Saturday as she led the South Dakota State women’s golf team to the 2016 Seton Hall Pirate Invitational.

The team title is the Jackrabbits’ third of the fall season. After the final 18 holes of the 36-hole tournament, in which Mingo shot a 74 Saturday, she was tied with Olivia Le Roux of Lamar at 152.

The Yankton native parred the first three holes and then shot another par on the fourth hole to win the tournament. The Jackrabbits’ title came after they shot a 632 (326-306) on the par-72, 5,902-yard Trump National Golf Club-New Course. They defeated second-place Lamar by 14 strokes in the 14-team field.
