Hundreds of millions of state and federal dollars are being directed to broadband expansion across South Dakota.
Mike Waldner, Coordinator of the SD Connect Broadband Development Program, says they have been working the dollars….

Waldner told the interim Appropriations Committee of the legislature last week that they have a lot of grants in the works….

Waldner says they are seeing progress in expanding broadband service….

Many of the grants go to local internet service providers as an incentive to expand into difficult to serve areas.
