Miller, South Dakota is home to the 2015 Retailer of the Year. In addition to pharmaceuticals and many other available gifts and office supplies, Miller Rexall Drug is known for its old fashioned soda fountain. Owner Travis Anderberg says the success of the small business can be attributed to the excellent customer service provided.

Anderberg says the small business does well, despite competition from larger companies. He grew up in Miller and says the small community is very supportive.

Anderberg says credit can be given to the employees who are also very dedicated to the customers’ experience as they enter the store. The award was presented at the South Dakota Retailers Association’s annual Awards Banquet in Pierre this week.
