South Dakota’s State women’s basketball point guard Macy Miller has been honored with two awards this week.

The sophomore from Mitchell has been named Summit League Player of the Week and College Sports Madness Summit League Mid-Major Player of the Week.

Miller averaged 16 points. 3.5 rebounds and 4 assists while shooting 66.7 percent from the field during the Jackrabbits upset win over then-No. 16 DePaul and her squad’s one-point loss to Green Bay. She shot 50 percent from 3-point range and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line and recorded a 1.6 assist-to-turnover ratio.

Miller was the Summit League Player of the Week Nov. 23 and earned Mid-Major Player of the Week honors as a freshman.
