Miller Gets Summit Nod

For the second time this season, South Dakota State women’s basketball player Macy Miller was honored as The Summit League Player of the Week Monday.

Miller, who was the Nov. 13 Summit League Player of the Week and is a two-time Summit League Mid-Major Player of the Week, already this season, helped lead the Jackrabbits to a 2-0 week.

The guard averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals while shooting 50.0 percent from the field, 50.0 percent from 3-point range and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Mitchell native registered a game-high 17 points and added six rebounds in the win over Oklahoma Dec. 6. Miller then registered her fourth 20-plus point game of the season with a game-high 22 points in the win over Bowling Green Dec. 9. She also had a game-high nine rebounds.
