Minnesota Milk Producers Association President Pat Lunemann says those all are having a negative effect on global milk prices too.

 

He says that’s a significant drop from a year ago with no near term relief in sight.

 

Lunemann says any export help dairy producers might receive won’t come right away with the recent Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement.

 

He doesn’t see any help from the Trans Atlantic Trade Investment Partnership deal either as the Europeans involved in those talks hold a very tight protectionist attitude especially with their dairy industry.
