Midwest Dairy Council has announced it will provide $250,000 in Fuel Up to Play 60 Super School Breakfast grants to 52 communities across the state over the 52 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl to be held in Minneapolis in 2018. Midwest Dairy Association CEO Lucas Lentsch says these grants support schools serving breakfast outside the cafeteria and they’re excited about this new program.
Grants to schools from Midwest Dairy Council will provide Fuel Up to Play 60-branded equipment for schools to use in delivering enhanced ‘Super School Breakfast’ programs.
The 52 schools selected will be announced beginning in February. The grants will be matched through support to the Legacy Fund of the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, with grants of up to $10,000 per school.
