Midland, Morningside Set Matchup

Top seeded Midland and three seed Morningside will meet on Tuesday, May 10, in Fremont for the 2016 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball Championship Game.

First pitch will be at 6pm.

Midland won two games on the day in Fremont, going to 11 innings in the second game to garner the 6-5 win.  The Warriors won game one 7-4.

Morningside went undefeated in the Briar Cliff bracket by posting a 9-4 win in championship game number one.

Midland has secured the first berth to the NAIA Opening Round from the GPAC.  The second berth goes to the GPAC Tournament Champion or regular season runner up if MU wins the tournament title.
