The economy in the nine state Mid America region appears to be growing, but there are some continuing issues.

Goss says due to the pressure on wages, inflation continues to rise quickly……

Goss says eighty percent of the managers they surveyed said exports were important to their businesses, but fifty seven percent said they were in favor of renegotiating the NAFTA treaties with Canada and Mexico.
