The US Ag Department will send out the second round of Market Facilitation Payments to producers by Thanksgiving.
This one will be just under eight billion dollars and this year the federal government will pay out about fourteen and a half billion dollars.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson says the payments are a slim replacement for selling crops..

Johnson says the payments are designed to be a carry over for many producers….

Johnson says the next payment is scheduled for January….

Producers can sign up for MFP payments at their area FSA office through December sixth.
