Mexican Tariff Set to Start Monday

While negotiations continue, it appears a five percent tariff on all Mexican imports will begin on Monday.
That follows an order from President Trump to impose the tariff because of what he sees as a lack of control of migrants across the Mexican – US border.
South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says he doesn’t like the use of tariffs in this situation….

Rounds says it will take a change in the law….

Rounds says there need to be more protections for ag producers and consumers….

Rounds says the President should come to Congress to more fully explain his proposals.
