Yankton Police assisted South Dakota Parole Agents in a search on National Street on Wednesday. Items were found indicating the use and manufacturing of Methamphetamine. There were components used in the manufacturing of the drugs which necessitated the use of the hazardous materials clean up team.
The case was a joint operation between SD DCI, SD Parole, Yankton Police, Yankton County Emergency Medical Services and the Yankton Fire Department.
36 year old Todd Deville, and 37 year old Aaron Marek were arrested at the scene. Both were charged with manufacturing and possessing meth, and also with knowing a child was present when making those drugs.
