The merger approval of the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce and YAPG into the new “Yankton Thrive” will mean some changes in staff and operations.

The current Chamber office building has structural issues and will be abandoned. Wenande says they can now begin to look at a future location..

The merger and new organization should be in place by July first.
