Memorial Day was observed at Fantle Memorial Park in Yankton Monday.
The ceremony was held at the soldier’s memorial in the center of the park, surrounded by sidewalks lined with over three hundred American flags.

Event MC, Bill Ruppel closed the ceremony with a simple reminder………

Wreaths to remember those who have died in service were laid around the memorial obelisk in the park.
