The State of South Dakota released the “Meth, We’re on It” campaign in late 2019 to focus attention on the drug problem and help those affected find treatment.
The campaign went quickly national and viral.
Governor Kristi Noem was asked about that by delegates during her appearance last week at Girls State in Vermillion…

Noem says the message, while controversial, did a lot of good for a lot of people…

Noem says she wanted the message to get through to people that needed the help…..

The state has since backed off using the message.
