Governor Dennis Daugaard has appointed nine people to the new Board of Technical Education. The board was approved in a constitutional amendment last fall, and will become effective July first.

One of those appointed is Avera Sacred Heart Hospital President Doug Ekeren of Yankton. He says they hope to bring the four tech schools more in line….
