Medical Marijuana Fight Continues in Nebraska

Medical Marijuana Fight Continues in Nebraska

Photo: WNAX

For two years Nebraska lawmakers had a chance to pass a medical marijuana bill and for two years it has failed. This has families of those with certain medical conditions taking matters into their own hands. Shari Lawlor is very active with Nebraska Families 4 Medical Cannabis and says they are hoping to gather enough signatures to put the issue on the November 2016 ballot.

Lawlor says they this issue isn’t going away

Lawlor’s daughter suffers from seizures three or four times a day. She says 24 states have seen the benefits of medical marijuana for a number of conditions and they could find relief if it was available. They are asking for contributions, volunteers and signatures to meet their goal. More information is available at nf4mc.org
