Later this year a medical marijuana dispensary will open in Council Bluffs Iowa.  Right across the river in Bellevue lives Dominic Gillen and his family, including his son.

Only Iowa residents will have access to the dispensary and that is frustrating news for Gillen.  Cognitively, Will is about two years old and legally blind.  Dominic has done research and found that others with this form of epilepsy have benefitted from CBD products.  They are waiting to see if what is offered at the Iowa dispensary would be effective enough to warrant a move to Iowa.

Gillen has been a longtime advocate for legalizing medical cannabis in Nebraska and research shows others suffering with the same form of epilepsy as his son have benefitted from that treatment.
