Backers of a petition drive have been successful in getting a constitutional amendment to expand Medicaid on the South Dakota general election ballot in November.

Marcus says there are a lot of working people that can’t afford health insurance….

Marcus says they estimate the expansion will bring about forty-two thousand people into Medicaid coverage.
