Meat Export Federation Hosts Mexican Congressmen

The United States Meat Export Federation recently hosted three Congressmen from Mexico and gave them a first hand look at U.S. beef and pork production. Meat Export Federation Chairman and Nebraska producer Mark Jagels says they were able to show them a high quality and very safe product.
Jagels says the group which represented high level leadership in the Mexican government met with Meat Export Federation Chairman Phil Seng and M-E-F Regional Director Chad Russell and were able to visit a ranch and Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
Jagels says the Mexican lawmakers also were able to tour Cargill’s beef processing plan t in Fort Morgan and met with officials at the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
