The Minnesota Agriculture Department’s Rural Finance Authority is offering several loan programs containing low interest rates. State Ag Commissioner Thom Petersen says rates vary from 2 percent to 4 percent.
He says for those producers hit by the pandemic they have a really good loan program available they should check out.
Petersen says their five RFA loan programs cover a variety of agricultural needs.
To Date, over $270 million has been loaned out by RFA with over 29,000 people participating. Petersen says state lawmakers replenished RFA’s funding by allocating $50 million.
