The Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association (MCPA) is putting out the call for people who want to serve.

MCPA spokesman Andy Skoogman says police departments across Minnesota are seeing a dramatic drop in the number of candidates applying for job openings. And he says, locally, there’s been a substantial increase in the number of candidates who fail to meet pre-hiring qualifications.
