Work is moving rapidly on a new school building in Salem.
McCook Central School Superintendent Dr Dan Swartos says they are ahead of schedule…..
Swartos says the old 1924 school building has been demolished, and they used some of the new construction to finish the last school year…..
Swartos says classes and teachers will be moving around during the fall semester…..
The entire project will cost just over seven million dollars. Due to the construction, school will start after Labor Day for the district.
McCook Central has about three hundred thirty-five students.
