Mayo Clinic’s Children’s Center has once again been ranked as one of the top performing children’s hospitals in Minnesota, the Dakotas and Iowa on “U.S. News & World Report’s 2016-2017 best Children’s Hospital Rankings.”
Medical Director of the Mayo Clinic Children’s Center Dr. Randall Flick says they look at the survey as a means of reviewing their practice on an annual basis, as a way to improve the care Mayo gives to the children
Flick says the Mayo Children’s Center offers a number of unique services
Flicks adds that there are even more unique services provided by Mayo. Much of the research they do at Mayo also originates in house. Flick says a large portion of the research is funded outside the clinic, often from the National Institutes of Health.
