Yankton County States Attorney Rob Klimisch is asking the county commission for authority to hire another staff person for his office. He says it is needed because of changes brought about by the adoption of “Marsys Law” by voters last year…..

Klimisch says they are seeing more work due to a change in filing legal papers…..

Klimisch says he would share the new person with the ambulance service, and attempt to collect back due payments….

The commission gave tentative approval to the new position, but wanted more specific information.
