Marne Creek Damages Two Years On

This month marks two years since the flooding that damaged roads, bridges, and infrastructure all over the region.

The Auld-Brokaw Trail along Marne Creek in Yankton was heavily damaged and part of it is still unusable.

City Manager Amy Leon says an engineering firm is working on reconstruction…

Leon says they hope to get bids later this year…

Leon says they have worked around several delays…

Much of the repair is being funded by FEMA since the creek is a flood control structure.
