Marketing Professor Expects More Brick and Mortar Store Closings This Year

Major retailers that once dominated with brick-and-mortar stores are becoming a thing of the past.  One of the biggest factors behind the trend, online sales.  University of St. Thomas Marketing Professor Emeritus Dave Brennan says shoppers are looking for quick, convenient options.  He says this especially holds true with younger people who are willing to trade money for quick delivery

 

Brennan says consumers also like the convenience of comparison shopping online and not having to spend time in multiple stores:
