The Executive Board of the South Dakota legislature heard from all of the summer study committees at their meeting this week.

Senator Bryan Breitling of Miller chaired the study on Marijuana. He says there are still some challenges….

Breitling says they heard from a number of sources and interests…

Breitling says they also had a subcommittee working on medical marijuana….

The committee proposed one bill that would legalize recreational marijuana and do away with most of the medical marijuana program.
Those bills go to the 2022 legislative session.
