Manufacturing is big business in Minnesota.  Shane Delaney with the state Department of Employment and Economic Development says manufacturing supports 319-thousand jobs

Last year manufacturing contributed 49.2 billion dollars to the state’s economy.  Governor Mark Dayton has proclaimed this week as “Minnesota Manufacturing Week.”
