National Association of Manufacturing officials are very concerned Country of Origin Labeling rules in the farm bill weren’t fixed before that legislation was passed. N-A-M Director Jessica Lemos says they’re most concerned about the World Trade Organization retaliating against the United States because they believe COOL is not compliant with their rules.

Lemos says her group is working with elected officials in trying to find a fix to COOL.

Lemos says it’s important for the United States to set the example for other countries by being WTO compliant.
