Nebraska, Minnesota and Iowa State were easy winners Tuesday night in basketball action.

Four Nebraska players scored in double figures, the Huskers made 15 shots from 3-point range, and Nebraska finished with its second-largest margin of victory in school history by defeating Mississippi Valley State 106-37 before 9,322 fans at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Amir Coffey opened the season for Minnesota with 18 points in 24 minutes and Daniel Oturu had 14 points and eight rebounds in his college debut, guiding the Gophers to a 104-76 victory over Omaha.

Nebraska transfer Michael Jacobson led four players in double digits with 17 points, fellow transfer Marial Shayok had 14 and Iowa State rolled past Alabama State 79-53 on Tuesday night.
