South Dakota State 4-H Youth Council members have selected their state project for this year. The group is working to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation for South Dakota. SDSU Extension 4-H Events Field Specialist Audrey Rider says the 4-Hers will be collecting cash donations for Make A Wish throughout the next calendar year.

She says the 4-H Youth Council is working with the various 4-H clubs throughout the state on this project.

Rider says they’ll present a check to Make A Wish during next year’s South Dakota State Fair in Huron.
